Product Demo on April 7, 2022
Debbie Peters, Partner, and Inga Petri, Project Manager, of The Pitch have been invited by BC Touring Council to present ThePitch.ca at Pacific Contact next week!
It is a chance to learn first hand about the capabilities of ThePitch.ca, as a digital showcasing service that brings artists and arts presenters together 24/7/365. As a business-to-business (B2B) application, The Pitch is building a trusted community of touring artists, performance companies, agencies, presenting networks, and presenters seeking live or digital performances. The Pitch caters to all performing arts: music, theatre, dance, storytelling, circus, variety and other performances.
This demo and Q & A is appropriate for presenters, artists, artist representatives, networks.
Demo: Doing Business on The Pitch
Participants will see a full demo from presenters’ perspective and from artists and agents’ perspective. We will review account and profile creation and then swiftly move into how artists and agents can create pitches, from the video and other assets, to the way the Pitch Wizard helps users create complete pitches using drag and drop. We will highlight some of the best approaches we have seen artists take in terms of their pitch videos. Once pitches are created they can be added to a user’s Notebook for future reference or directly curated into a Showcase Room. Once a user has finished creating their Showcase Room, they can invite attendees to it. (In this early stage, the Pitch allows anyone to view a Showcase Room through a uniquely generated link.)
Search is a central feature that enables discovery of platform users, so we’ll demo.
The agent and artist view is all about putting your best foot forward so concert buyers and arts presenters can find and view artists’ pitches and profiles that interest them. Account creation until the end of April is simple – identify your role, submit basic contact info and you are in for a six months free trial! No fuss.
Pilot Partnerships Extended
Anyone who is in the performing arts touring and presenting sector can create an account today and start to use the platform. In exchange for the free trial and first mover advantages that come with it, we appreciate getting reports of any bugs or functionality issues. (Any software at this stage of development has bugs or unintended ways of working.)
