The Pitch

Digital Marketplace for the Performing Arts is envisioned as a fully-featured digital showcasing service that brings artists and arts presenters together 24/7/365. As a business-to-business (B2B) application, The Pitch seeks to build a broad, trusted community of touring artists, agencies, performance companies, presenting networks, and presenters seeking live or digital performances.

Serving the entire performing arts eco-system

The Pitch as a showcase space contemplates the needs of artists and performance producing companies, agents and managers, presenters, venues as well as regional presenting networks. We offer high-quality performance showcases in customizable showcase rooms where presenters can discuss their curatorial selections in confidence.

Software Development Timeline

During 2020, we undertook the necessary user research, examined business model options, developed and tested an approach to digital pitches including performance videos and developed the digital blueprint for The Pitch.

  • First half 2021 – develop alpha release, private beta release and undertake ongoing user testing of features
  • Summer 2021 – launch public beta and onboarding; set up live pilot programs for networks and agents
  • Second half 2021 – onboarding of all users groups and full deployment; launch pilot programs for presenting networks’ digital showcases
